This year, the University of Miami’s Golden Key Honour Society is hosting the Golden Key 5K to celebrate Heart & Skin health! Proceeds from the race will go to support two different causes; one is melanoma skin cancer research at the University of Miami and the other is a program called Team for Life that helps get life-saving heart devices out into Miami. UM dermatologists will be at the race to give Free Post-Race Skin Cancer Screenings within private booths. Running is known to be good for your health and your heart. Bring your family and friends, race for great causes, and start the day having improved your own heart and skin health! Distance: 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)
Age Divisions: Male & Female - Starting at 12/under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70/over.
Awards: Top Three Overall Male/Female, Top Three Male/Female in each age division, Top Three Masters Male/Female

T-Shirts: Commemorative T-shirt for all participants that register before 4/1/2012. T-shirts for everyone else will be attempted but not guaranteed.
Bag Check: Bring a bag & you can check it for free at our bag check.
Parking: Parking is $6 cash per car and will be available in the South Beach Parking lot.
Directions: From North: Take I-95 South to Exit #1 - Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne. Go through 3 traffic lights and see the entrance. Pay $1.50 toll and drive 4.9 miles until you see the Crandon Park South Exit to your left. From South: Take and remain on US 1 North. Turn right onto Rickenbacker Causeway ($1.50 toll) and drive 4.9 miles until you see the Crandon Park South Exit to your left.
